I picked up a camera in July 2018, and haven’t put it down since. My work revolves around joy and finding poetry in the everyday.

I am inspired in part by Anthony Doerr’s “The Memory Wall,” where an old woman slipping into dementia chooses to have her memories extracted (via holes drilled in her brain!) and stored on retrievable cassettes. Photography is a far less dramatic (and decidedly less invasive) means of memory preservation.

I have lived in the Seattle-area for almost 40 years. My undergraduate degree is in Computer Studies from Northwestern University and I have a Masters in Business Administration from University of Washington.

I would like to thank Brett Erickson, Daniel Gregory and George Nobechi for their continued wisdom and support.
